“A recent Pew Research Center survey of 1, 408 technology and education professionals suggested that the most valuable skills in the future will be those that machines can’t yet easily replicate, like creativity, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, adaptability and collaboration. In short, people need to learn how to learn, because the only hedge against a fast-changing world is the ability to think, adapt and collaborate well.”

Why Common Ground Literacy?
Regardless of age or ability, all CGL students go through a literacy education program that ensures everyone improves their quality and quantity of English language skills.
These skills, which are useful for building personal, social, academic, and professional growth, are described within CGL’s curriculum: The Progress Plan. |
The Challenge for Modern Education
In spite of decades of research and millions of dollars spent, there is still a lack of consensus on a good way to approach literacy education.
It is the task for modern educators to devise an approach that effectively teaches all students, not what to think, but how. |
